Microwave Oven Recipes Is There A Way To Convert Most Oven Recipes To Use A Microwave Oven?

Is there a way to convert most oven recipes to use a microwave oven? - microwave oven recipes

Basically, I'm in China, and my host family has a stove and a microwave. I believe a Thanksgiving dinner for her, but nearly all U.S. food ingredients are used in the oven or other means are available. Is it possible to make a pumpkin pie, mash, stuffing and bread pudding in the microwave? I do not see why not, you can to reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe and cooking times vary, but as I look, will it work?

For those exact reasons you said, changing fluids, etc., cooking time, it is a good "conversion formula" microwave recipes for change. I do some of the specific research and send a link to a few pages in the hope that you can access it.

No-Bake Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin Cream Pie
1-1/2 c. cold skim milk
1 pkg. Mixture of sugar free instant pudding
1 c. pumpkin
1 teaspoon of tea. Spices for pumpkin pie
C. 1 prepared whipped cream (no dairy)

Mix milk, pudding mixes, pumpkin and spices. Beat on low speed for 1 minute. Fold the whipped cream. Pour into a shallow bowl or pie plate in oven. Refrigerator approximately 3 hours.

Spices for pumpkin pie, sub 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 / 2 clove c. Tea

Modified Corn Pudding

2 cups hot cooked rice
1 (2.8 ounces) French fried onions, divided
1 cup sour cream
1 (16 ounces) cream style corn
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese

Combine rice and 2 / 3 cup French fried onions. Spoon half of rice mixture in MicrowEV-2 Flat-room safety pot. Spread sour cream over rice. Intermediate layer of corn and half the cheese over sour cream. Top remaining rice, corn and cheese. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at a height of 8 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with remaining onions. Microwave 1 minutes until the onions are golden brown.

If you use a heavy pot with lid, as LeCrueset, you can fill and bread pudding on the stove. Who are likely to produce better results than the microwave to produce.

Of course, you can use the "bean pan" cool ... is easy to mix and heat.

The Linked Sites are a recipe for microwave ... Hope this helps!
